Formação Lá Fora: the new training website of Associação Viver a Infância
Online courses and practical guides for people who work with children.
Associação Viver a Infância, the organisation behind Escola Lá Fora, now has a website dedicated to training: formacao.escolalafora.pt.
Every day we see what changes in children when they spend their time outdoors: how they explore, how they solve problems together, how they grow confident in their bodies and in the space around them. We also see what changes in the adults who are with them, who start to observe more closely and to make more room for children's ideas. Formação Lá Fora was created to share this experience with educators, teaching assistants, teachers, practitioners and families.
On the website you will find:
- Online courses: "Tantrums and Challenging Behaviour", in two video modules, to watch at your own pace on your computer or phone.
- Practical guides: "Organising the Outdoor Space", for pre-school and primary school teams, and "The Project Begins with Looking", on the project approach in early childhood education, with a real project from the forest at Escola Lá Fora.
The courses and guides are created by the Escola Lá Fora teaching team and grow out of our daily work with children. All content is in Portuguese.
